David received his BFA from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida with a major in sculpture and a minor in pottery. He taught hand built pottery and sculpture throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties while developing his craft as a professional sculptor and potter.

Having always had multiple interests David combines pottery and living elements in a botanically balanced sculptural environment evolving into a combination of environmental concepts comprised of a synthesis of design and environment that encompasses the sculptural concepts that were present in all of his past and future work.

David’s conceptual design elements are based upon a balanced composition of negative and positive elements connected with a flowing line that projects a suggestion without definition. This suggestion allows the viewer to be a participant in the work by calling on their prior experiences to interpret his work.
